Weird, weird, weird.

In order to get a Macbook running Tiger to connect to a BT HomeHub, I had to add a $ before the WEP Password. I have no idea why.

I have absolutely no idea how this worked but it did. Saved me a load of time! Thanks for pointing this out!!

After months of hair pulling… my macbook pro kept losing the wifi connection to the hone hub (new black one) and when I left the UK I got the same problem with the router I use in South Africa which I had no problems with beofre using the BT new home hub… I remembered BT suggest its better to load a BT Broadband disc to start with… long story short, I dumped the files and everything is back to normal. Clearly the BT files try to make their internet network a priority and will continue to search for BT zone etc.
So if you’ve loaded that disc, trash the file.
