Mint: A Fresh Look at Your Site.  Mint, built by Shaun Inman, is one of the best (javascript-based) stats tracking apps out there.  It’s most powerful feature? Enabling users to build their own extensions to the system, called “Peppers”.  You might want to check out Pepper Mint Tea for some idea of what extras are available.
